Reebok Easytone

I actually saw someone walking down Newbury a few days ago wearing Reebok Easytones, and my, were they ugly. Plus, I knew they were Easytones because they are so over-marketed and have the most annoying commercials. Ever. Not as annoying as this or this (migraine warning), but still VERY annoying.

Why would you buy a pair of shoes that tells everyone you're trying to get a better butt? Or maybe I'm wrong in wondering that--I guess heels were designed to lengthen legs and tighten butts, too? But heels aren't gimmicky! Ughhh now I'm just rambling.

  1. Hm they're not THAT ugly looking... here are some cool silver ones.

The thing is, I'd only wear straight sneakers like this while exercising anyway, so idk how much use/how effective they'd be since I think you need to wear these everyday/everywhere to get any sort of substantial results.

When Reebok pairs up with Cole Haan and offers this in a boot (I bet they do do this in a platform wedge), then we'll see Rachel Zoe + co. jumping on board.

  2. don't know anything about these, but if they're marketed as butt toning sneakers i think they'd be embarrassing to wear.....sort of like wearing those plastic shrink wrap things they used to have( do they still have them?) to make you shed inches, only wearing it out of the anonymity of your own house...also, if you find the right jeans/pants you're butt will look fine, i don't think it's all about the butt .....too much obsessing about size for me....and what's with putting on a butt show anyway.....

  3. i think the main issue we should be considering is that these reebok "butt shapers" are HIGH FASHION compared to the original version by Skechers, which are just pitiful (the girls in THOSE ads not only don't have great butts, but wear khaki shorts that go high up the waist). So let's be glad that Reebok's a little more in touch with it all.
