Mint Candy Apple

I've been wanting to try this Essie color for a while now ever since it came out (last season?) and now it's currently on my fingernails. I'm really happy with it. It looks greaaaat with a tan and having bright, pretty nails really does up one's mood. Now I remember why I used to get mani-pedis all the time before I moved to New Hampshire. The funniest part is that I'm receiving more compliments on my nail polish from guys than girls...

Another amazing song entitled Kids (by Sleigh Bells)

I am seriously blowing out my eardrums listening to this... I can't wait to run to this song later on. Right about :53 to 1:05 is so sick.

The entire Treats album is awesome so far!!

SO PINK

So pink!! I love everything about this outfit. I do think Gwyneth dresses a bit on the young side. But it looks so good, I'm glad she does. Dress by Prada.

from red carpet fashion awards

Sunburst dress

I love this dress, it's so sparkly and happy and sunshine-y. And I love that it looks as good on Heidi as it does on the runway... not all dresses translate as well. Excellent choice.

Still looking

What exactly is work-appropriate or isn't?

Nude Nails

I'm currently really liking nude nail polish... there's something about it that looks very sexy. So is Marc Jacobs, who hand-picked these four OPI colors for his spring fashion show:

From L to R, the colors are Malaysian Mist, Samoan Sand, Barefoot in Barcelona, and Dulce De Leche.

My toes are newly painted Barefoot in Barcelona (third from L), they were last OPI's Tickle My France-y (another nude color) and I just ordered Dulce De Leche (last from L) from my favorite store... Amazon.com

Ok, enough procrastinating (part of the joy of online shopping). Errands and studying await...

The Dartmouth Center for Health Care Delivery Science

Dartmouth College has received a $35 million commitment to establish The Dartmouth Center for Health Care Delivery Science, President Jim Yong Kim announced today. The anonymous gift will advance a new field of study, harnessing the knowledge and expertise of faculty across multiple disciplines from the arts and sciences as well as from the medical, business and engineering schools.

It's truly amazing what President Kim has been able to accomplish in his year here so far. I am so, so, so impressed and so proud to be a part of the Dartmouth family. Can't wait to see what happens in the future.

Cannes

Oooh, what a dress on Fan Bing Bing at Cannes! Who makes it? It's looking all Murakami-like. Who is Fan Bing Bing?

Kraftwerk. Ridiculosities.

Anyone else want to plunge into the rich history/current state of German electronica?
