Went to Topside tonight to buy cookie baking supplies and decided to buy chocolate bars (Hershey's and Symphony) to make chocolate chunk cookies. A friend said to be careful of bar chocolate because it melts faster, so I made sure not to over-bake them.
And my, are they delicious! Here's the recipe I got from The Times.
My arms hurt because I didn't have a mixer or anything (though in hindsight I probably should've just used my hands). Now I feel virtuous as I gorge on cookies! At least I'm passing the time by baking instead of watching "Jersey Shore". I guess there's a new ep on tonight? I've only watched 1 episode online and I immediately went on to PBS.org to watch a documentary about girls (which I recommend) in order to grow back some intellect.
No offense to the JS people, but they are insane and it is sad that such a mean show exists.
