omg I read this entire article on WSJ and it's really funny, there are two new ones because it was open to the public vote what Barbie's next career should be and all the little girls voted for anchorwoman and there was a huge female engineers/computer science push on the internet to block vote for the engineer so that's the one that actually won the popular vote, so Mattel ended up making both :))
